We are a local ministry associated with a national coalition

In November of last year, a group of grandparents from the East Twin Cities Metro attended a national grandparent conference sponsored by the Legacy Coalition.  We were greatly impacted by what we learned and were  challenged to bring a local seminar to our region so that more grandparents could take advantage of this blessing.

helpful Resources from the legacy coalition will be available for review and purchase at the seminar

To help you in being an intentional grandparent, many resources will be available for you to review during breaks and at lunch.  The Legacy Coalition has gathered and reviewed a number of books and CDs that many have found extremely helpful in putting into practice many of the principles that are taught at this seminar.  These resources provide practical and actionable advice on becoming a grandparent that can truly impact your grandchildren for eternity.

additional resources

In addition, selected additional resources will be available for review at the seminar specifically designed for you to apply to your individual circumstances.   For example, there are significant differences in how grandparents relate to teen grandchildren as compared to preschool grandchildren.   These materials give specific best practices. tools and ideas for being intentionally involved in their lives at each stage of life.  Questions such as: "How do I grandparent long distance?" and "What can I do when one of my grandchildren is prodigal?" are also addressed so that you can follow the LORD's lead and be ready to make a difference.
